So many things had to align for this image to happen that I still can't believe how fortunate I was. It was the night of the full Moon, the sky was perfectly clear, and there wasn't a breath of wind, these are ideal conditions for capturing the incredible detail visible at 750mm. Additionally there had been a recent dumping of snow to turn the mountain gleaming white.
